Innovative teaching techniques must be supported by flexible facility designs. The College of Southern Nevada Health Education Center, Phase II, the first facility built subsequent to LGA’s completion of the West Charleston Campus Master Plan, has a flexible design to allow for changes in approaches to teaching and technology. Specialized teaching spaces integrate technology into the instructional process. The center’s classrooms and laboratories provide an opportunity for specialized instruction in the biology, chemistry, and nursing fields.
Integrating interior spaces with exterior surroundings is a challenge LGA welcomes. We believe interior spaces should flow naturally to outdoor spaces by way of courtyards and walkways. Well-planned outdoor spaces provide the link between people and the environment.
